Student Recitals

Students perform a variety of piano compositions at our annual recital at Waipuna Chapel, located at 17 Omaopio Rd., Kula.  Recitals are free and open to the public. Click to see previous recitals

Benefits of having a recital include:

Parents enjoy hearing the progress of their child.

Parents and grandparents love attending these performances and taking picture/video recordings of their child's performance, especially when it's their first recital.
There's something special about watching your child all dressed up and playing a special piece for an audience onstage.
The benefits for the students are of great importance.  It provides direction to their piano study.    Students enjoy having a long term goal such as performing at a recital.
A recital provides the student opportunity to give them a more challenging piece to work on.
Recitals allow each student to hear their fellow students play.  This is important for two reasons:
a)  Hearing the young beginners play reminds them how far they have progressed since their first lesson.
b)  Hearing the more advanced students encourages them to aspire to become a more accomplished pianist.
